Reservoir Recharge Wellness Weekends
This series of wellness events offers a lineup of free community activities curated by Whitney Stringer Wellness Events. From Pilates to yoga and family dance parties to mindful meditation, the series is designed to encourage self-care, promote healthy lifestyles and support neighborly connections. Led by small businesses, non-profits and emerging local health and wellness professionals, these activities will offer something for everyone.
While the events are free, registration is required to attend.

Second Fridays Music Series
This summer, join us on the second Friday of each month to enjoy a free outdoor concert at Reservoir District curated by our partner Yellow Door Music! Offering a variety of music styles and performances, this series is designed to support community engagement and cultural enrichment through the multifaceted musical genres and artists. Bring a chair and/or picnic and spend a relaxing evening listening to music with neighbors and friends.
Time: 2nd Friday of the Month, 6 PM – 8 PM
Location: Lower Level Plaza adjacent to the Community Center
June 12 – Adrian Duke and The Rascality: A pianist, singer and songwriter who blends soulful blues, New Orleans funk, jazz and more.
July 10 – Tobago Bay Calypso: A DC Caribbean band with sounds from the islands, this group features traditional calypso, soca, Latin, reggae, jazz and pop.
August 14 - Taisha Estrada: Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Taisha Estrada blends Latin styles with jazz, R&B and pop.
September 11 - Nasim Siddeeq: A soulful R&B singer and guitarist with a signature sound that is equal parts groove, heart and authenticity.

Cocoa Social
Join us at the Reservoir District Park Fountain to enjoy a cup from our hot cocoa bar, take a photo inside our giant snow globe and meet members of the Jair Lynch team.
We will also be collecting coats, scarves, gloves and other cold-weather gear for a local charity.
